Clinics and services

Maternity care

Maternity care is provided on a shared care basis with the Midwife and local obstetric unit. Ante-natal clinics are held weekly in the Surgery.  However, if the Clinic is fully booked, you may need to arrange an appointment at the Beckenham Beacon Clinic.

Family Planning

Family planning services are available including contraception (including diaphragm and IUD fitting) and pre-conception counselling.

Child Health and Immunisation

Child development clinics are run by the Doctors and Health Visitor. All childhood immunisations are provided by the Practice Nurse.

Minor Surgery

Performed under local anaesthesia by arrangement with your doctor.

Counselling

By prior referral from a doctor. Qualified counsellors are available for help with emotional and psychological problems.

Women’s Health

Regular cervical smear tests are offered to all women over 25 years old. Women over 50 are invited for mammograms every three years. Help is available for premenstrual and menopausal problems.
